25th years old Finnish Chamber of Commerce (formerly know as Finnish Business Council) is the main business forum for Finnish companies as well as for other companies engaged in business activities with Finnish companies. We do believe that networking, sharing and caring are essential elements of the modern business relationship management. Finnish Chamber ensures its members to have an access to the local industry and business decision makers by actively participating in the events important to Finnish business community.

We remain optimistic for the year 2012 despite continual economical turbulence, which impacts the euro zone severely. Our member companies are faced with various challenges but nothing that worse than before. New Finnish companies, some of which are SMEs, have set their base in Hong Kong. Hence, developing and offering support to SMEs and micro companies is one of the focus areas of FinnCham this year.

The main objectives for the year 2012 revolve around furthering the cooperation with other business forums in Hong Kong and in the region. The first cooperative meeting for Finnish chambers and business councils in Asia held in Hong Kong set us on a path fur further and regular collaboration among the chambers and the councils. Being part of the newly established The FinnCham Network, allows us now to be closely linked with nearly 100 trade associations, chambers of commerce and societies operating in different parts of the world. I am certain that all our members and the Finnish communities in the region will benefit from these collaborations through extended networking opportunities.
