in Hong Kong.

Finnish Chamber of Commerce is the main business
forum for Finnish companies as well as for other
companies engaged in business activities with
Finnish companies. We do believe that networking,
sharing and caring are essential elements of the
modern business relationship management. Finnish
Chamber ensures its members to have an access to
the local industry and business decision makers
by actively participating in the events important
to Finnish business community.

The past year has been challenging to most of the
companies due to the financial turmoil. There is
some light at the end of the tunnel but yet, it is
not certain that real economies in different regions
have recovered fully. Consensus indicates that Asia is
the driver as consumer confidence has returned faster
than the hard hit US market.

The ongoing challenge in the world economy can also
be an opportunity to both our corporate members and
to our individual members. Together we can have a
better understanding how the economy is developing,
which direction it is going and at what speed. Recently
introduced ’member to member’ concept is a
part of this information sharing. The new Board is also
committed to review our objectives and areas of
developments in order to better serve our members.

It is almost six years ago, when I last time served the
Finnish Chamber Board. I am delighted to see that FCC
stands as a valued chamber within Hong Kong business
society.

either Finnish Chamber or in Joint Chamber events.
